PICK AND OTHER FILES IN FUIS FTP The following pick files are in this FTP site: 1. fb.picks--first-break pick times (reduced by 6 km/s) 2. shallow.picks--pick times (unreduced) for shallow reflected refractions in the San Gabriel Mts; e.g., from the Vincent thrust fault 3. M1.picks--pick times (unreduced) for near-vertical to wide-angle mid-crustal reflections in the San Gabriel Mts.; e.g., the from the San Gabriel "bright spot" 4. M2.picks--same as 3 above; another reflection close in time to M1 5. R1.picks--pick times (reduced by 6 km/s) for wide-angle mid-crustal reflections in the Mojave Desert 6. R2.picks--same as 5 above. R2.picks at negative distances from SP's 8320, 8330, 8344, 8351, and 8360 are similar in time to M1.picks for these shotpoints, and are probably the same phase. 7. R3.picks--pick times (reduced by 6 km/s) for PmP 8. R3A.picks--similar to 7 above for at least one shotpoint (8090). This is a second phase possible associated with the Moho. All pick files have the following columns: ffid chan stake offset time In addition, I have included a file [shotpt.data_Lutter_coords] giving the coordinates of each shotpoint in Bill Lutter's tomographic model: 0 km = coast, 2.00 km = SP9450, etc. Format is 8010 sp# 47.752 0.147 location in Lutter coords (km NE of the coast) and elevation (km above SL) Finally, there is a file of the line drawing from Ryberg and Fuis (1998), in Lutter coordinates [line_drawg2.migration_input_cp]. Format is 1 0.000 0.000 This line indicates the start 0 39.901 3.845 This line indicates location (Lutter coords)and time to the endpoint of a line 0 41.095 3.817 This line indicates the same for the other endpoint 1 0.000 0.000 This line indicates the end of the line segment (there may be several points on a line ) . . . -1 0.000 0.000 This line is the end of the file
