The columns are as follows: 1: Year of origin time 2: Month of origin time 3: Day of origin time 4: Hour of origin time 5: Minute of origin time 6: Second of origin time (time is UTC) 7: Latitude (degrees, North positive) 8: Longitude (degrees, East positive) 9: Depth (km, positive down) 10: East-West standard error (km) 11: North-South standard error (km) 12: Vertical standard error (km) 13: Origin time standard error (s) 14: SCEC CUSP event id 15: Magnitude (from SCEC) 16: Number of P picks used in location 17: Number of S picks used in location There are 95 characters per line and 288,912 events so the file is about 27 MBytes.
