Northridge Portable Instrument Station Parameter Files --------------------------------------------------------------- There are four separate directories (GEOS, KINEMETRICS, SCEC, and SCSN) each containing it's own stapar directory. These are organized according to the group that contributed the data. Instrument response functions for the contributing TERRAscope stations were obtained with SEED data available from the IRIS DMC at the University of Washington state. Station parameter (stapar) files contain information regarding station location, sensors, dataloggers, and recording parameters as they change with time. They are named by date (YYDDDHHMMSS.msS) where the date reflects the time of the parameter changes. The response/ directory contains the "RponseFile" and "FilterResponseFiles" files containing the corresponding poles and zeroes and FIR filter coefficient files. Stapar files are broken up into 4 distinct sections containing information regarding different aspects of the data.
